The Martin Hughes House is a nationally registered historic property and local landmark. It was build as the mansion for Martin Hughes. The room we have available is the original master bedroom with two closets and a private bathroom with a walk in shower. Guests are welcome to use the amenities of our home such as the kitchen, gym, den, washer/dryer. We welcome you to come stay with us in the Martin Hughes House!
Our place is 15 min. from Omaha's zoo; 10 min. from the Old Market; 5 min. from shopping/restaurants; 15 min. from the airport. The 1000 sq. ft. apartment occupies the lower level of our house with a separate entrance and patio. SANITATION PLEDGE: We are taking extra measures to make sure your rented space is safe. At each cleaning, we use disinfectant to wipe down all surfaces, handles, railings, light switches, remote controls and appliances. We wash all linens using the 'sanitize' setting.
I know my house as my Grandmother's house. She lived here until she was 99 yr old in 1993. Since then, we have made it our own home with additions, but keeping the same character Grandmother established. Our neighborhood is lovely, with a canopy of trees and landscaped lawns. We love sharing our home with you, and look forward to meeting you!
