Kensington Cottage

A charming rustic pine cottage right on Lake Huron. Located in an area of fascinating history and enjoyment on the water. Fabulous kayak destinations right outside the door. Have breakfast on the dock or at your private deck table with seating for six. Plenty of space at the dock to tie up your watercraft with boat launching right next door at Kensington Point Marina. The cottage water is fully filtered through an Ultra Violet light source which makes it 100% pure and drinkable out of the tap.

This is an ideal stay for individuals looking to slow down and relax in this cozy off-grid home immersed in nature. Wake-up with the roosters, enjoy your coffee with a book on the patio swing, do some yoga on the back patio under the sun, try a new recipe on the gas stove, ride bikes down the country roads or drive a short distance to one of the numerous beaches near by, then end your day in the backyard under the canopy of stars. Full amenity cabin with water access on Rock Lake

The cabin is great for family fishing trips, overnight guests, or guests looking for a secluded getaway. Please note that the cabin is out of cell phone reception. There is cell phone reception available a short drive from the cabin. The water access is a dock a short walk from the cabin. The lake bottom is very muddy and not suited to swimming. However, there is a very nice public beach on Rock Lake only about a 20 minute drive away! Also, we do not rent boats.
