We will meet at the lift house at Malga Ciapela to catch one of the first lifts to the summit of Marmolada so that we can experience La Bellunese, the longest ski run in the Dolomites before the main influx of skiers arrive for the day. We return to Monte Padon from where we can easily access the start of the Sellaronda. Taking the best piste down into town is a great addition to the round and samples Arabbas excellent steep skiing. Soon we reach Passo Pordoi and cross over to the long Schuss down to Lupo Bianco and the Sella Pass. A run from Col Rodella and then down to Plan di Gralba permits access to an excellent run right beneath the ramparts of Sassolungo which tower 1000m+ above the slopes. Time permitting we will take a run down the famous Sasslong, home to an annual downhill race before reaching Selva di Gardena. Our onward journey takes us down easier runs to Corvara then a chance to ski the excellent Piz da Lech before reaching Arabba. We are now within a stones throw of Malga Ciapela again so we head over to finish the day with a celebratory drink beneath the imposing walls of Punta Serauta and Piz da Guda.
I've been skiing, walking and climbing in the Dolomites for 17 years, both on and off piste. This really complex ski area can be confusing to find your way around and with the knowledge I have built over the years, you won't find a more knowledgable companion to help you organise your day. Because I live in the very centre of the range, I ski all the areas on a regular basis, which means I know the best runs, huts and pistes, where all the photo opportunities are and am able to give you simply the best experience you can have whilst skiing in the Dolomites.
As a farewell, I'd love to offer you a Grappa or beer of your choice before we all head home to bring the day to a close, so…
We'll be skiing one of the best on-piste skitours in the world. Among the many mountains we will see will be Marmolada, the highest peak in the range, Sassolungo, Sass Pordoi and the Sella massif. We will stop for lunch above Colfosco at a hut with excellent food and fantastic views.
最多6人參加，年齡須滿12歲。 Each skier must feel comfortable skiing all red runs. Because this is a non-instructional day, I cannot and will not assist in any way if you are not at a sufficient skiing proficiency. If you are unsure, please let me know well in…
You must make sure you have the correct skipass - it must be a Dolomiti Superski pass which covers all areas, or one of the combination passes available which include atleast one day of Dolomiti Superski, otherwise you will not beable to complete the tour.
