We'll meet at Tottenham Hale tube station and then walk down to Hackney Wick (almost) entirely through parks, woods, and nature reserves. If you're lucky, you'll see an abundance of bird life (egrets, cormorants, herons, coots, geese, etc.), cows, horses and a bunch of house boats. This is not manicured Royal parkland, this is wild London, beloved by locals. The total walk is around 10km and should take around 2.5hrs, but is obviously dependant upon the speed you walk and how many photo op breaks you take. There’s a convenient drop out spot at 5km too, if you want. I can do this walk pretty much any time during daylight on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. So please message me if you fancy going at different times than are currently listed. I am flexible!
We'll start in Tottenham Hale and end up in vibrant Hackney Wick with many a pub or restaurant to refill yourself from at the end of your walk. On the way, we will walk through a nature reserve and a SSSI, marshland, canal towpaths, alongside a river, and through a woodland. If you get tired, there is a convenient abandon ship point at about 5km in, as well as a pub/toilet break. The full walk is around 10km.
最多8人可參加，需年滿13歲。 Please wear comfy shoes and bring some water and snacks. If you get tired, there is a natural break at around the 5km mark.
This is a long walk, so make sure you are of average fitness. Please also bring some water and some snacks. I can make this walk wheelchair accessible as well, but please tell me in advance.
