We will meet at the train station of Bra, 45 minutes from Turin. From there, we will visit the most beloved local farmers market, where I will guide you through the market stalls, full of fresh and organic products. Together, we explore the seasonal ingredients and how to choose the best items from among the small producers of the region. We will buy the ingredients that we will need to cook lunch together. Before that, we will briefly stop at Giolito, one of the best cheese shops if the region and my personal favorite. After all that fun we will head downtown for a cooking class in my private kitchen, where you will learn from scratch how to combine Piedmontese flavors. We will prepare a full seasonal-inspired lunch to enjoy together. The menu consists of: A local cheese tasting An Antipasto Homemade pasta with filling and/or sauce A traditional Piedmontese dessert.
Hello, my name is Milena Martinez and I am a professional private chef. I have been traveling in the past few years to research the most authentic cuisines and hidden culinary traditions around the world. For the past 12 years, I have provided boutique private chef experiences all around the world. I am currently based in the heart of Bra where I graduated from UNISG Master in Wine Culture in 2017. I love to experiment with international cuisines, thoughtfully prepared dishes, and authentic recipes. I believe that some of the best things in life happen at the table: my goal is to create an atmosphere of conviviality, delightful conversations and genuine learning around food and wine.
