Published as weekly, monthly, seasonally magazines, web app, paperback. Almost all Japanese anime have original manga. Traditional manga works are drawn by black ink and gray screen tone on the paper. Lately, artists (authors) use some digital tools. In my class, let's try the traditional way to draw!
Hi there! I'm Yu, working as a MANGA artist after I graduate from Tokyo University of the Arts. I used to be making serial comics on a web app for 3 years as a contract artist, and was teaching drawing to high school students for 6 years in parallel. Now I make short comics requested by Japanese companies. I really love traveling! After came back to Japan, I publish my travel journal as a comic form by my self as much as I can. I'd say local experiences are most important during traveling. Since I wondered is there anything unique I can offer to the traveler in Tokyo, I started this Airbnb experience. I'll share not only tips and knowledge of drawing Japanese manga, but also where to get drawing tools in Tokyo if you wish. Let's have fun with drawing! Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/yutsubu/
