If you're interested in architecture but you already know the most famous modernist buildings in Barcelona, we invite you to discover Modern Architecture in the district of Ciutat Vella while learning and practising Spanish. Barcelona is a well-known city, famous for its food, nice weather and cultural offer. But this city is much more than las Ramblas or la Sagrada Familia and I'll show you 4 of my favourite spots in Ciutat Vella district. In every place, you'll learn not only about its history, but also useful phrases and vocabulary in Spanish related to them. It's a great opportunity to learn basic Spanish while immersed in this city.
I'm Rebeca Esparza, co-founder -alongside Martyna Zienckewizc- of Language Surfing, a language school in Barcelona with an innovative approach: we teach Spanish while exploring Barcelona. I'm passionate about languages, love teaching and love this amazing city. I've got a degree in Spanish Philology and a Master's degree in Education, plus more than 10 years' experience in teaching. We want to show you the most genuine Barcelona, the one which is not on travel books, and help you learn some Spanish at the same time. Martyna has a degree in Spanish Philology and a Master's degree in Journalism which she studied here in Barcelona.
