It's a treasure hunt with unique challenges to find physical containers hidden all across the UNESCO world heritage site - with some of the best views of the city anywhere in London! You will solve riddles, ciphers, puzzles and other challenges as you work together to be the fastest team ever on our scoreboard to reach the Royal Observatory. The UNESCO site we will be adventuring around contains the Queen’s House, the Royal Observatory (the birthplace of standardised time, GMT, and the meridian line), the Old Royal Naval College as designed by Sir Christopher Wren, Greenwich Market, and the National Maritime Museum. I will meet you next to the Cutty Sark - one of the fastest ships ever built that was used to ship tea in the days of empire. We will find secret treasure containers hidden in famous locations around Greenwich Park, trade a small prize or sign the sheet, and then replace the container for future adventurers to discover. The experience will end at the Royal Greenwich Observatory, part of the UNESCO world heritage site and one of the best views of the city anywhere in London. There will also be the opportunity to have your photo taken on the prime meridian line for free - with one foot in the western hemisphere and one in the east, making you the centre of the world! Perfect for solo travellers, friends, couples, groups and families.
I've been hunting for treasure through Geocaching for 4 years, across 11 countries, and in all sort of places - from hiking trips in Bulgaria to big cities like London. I have found it is always the best way to discover and explore new locations and have organised hundreds of treasuring hunting outings with friends, family, and fellow travellers across the years. I am a full member of the Geocaching Association of Great Britain. I am also a big fan of escape room games and hold records at a number of locations across the UK. I have created this experience to combine these two passions. This experience brings together the unique puzzles and challenges of escape rooms with the physical treasure hunting and outdoorsy-ness of geocaching to bring you a brilliant, interactive, experience.
If you wish, I will take photos of you on the Meridian Line and/or with the city panoramic view. Also happy to take full team…
