Stroll New York’s fashionable SoHo neighborhood with camera in tow during this 1-hour vintage photography class. After intros and refreshments at a local cafe, you’ll learn how to operate a manual instant camera and shoot street style photography. Then, you’ll head out and start snapping pics. When you’re done getting the perfect shot, you’ll have your portrait taken and get the print to bring home, along with one of the street scenes you captured.
I’m a Harlem native and professional photographer. The city, the streets, and the people of New York are my muses. I’m a proud member of a very niche community of almost extinct photographers who still use fully manual instant cameras. I’ve worked with Cartier, Nike, Hendricks Gin, MAC Presents, and more. Together, let’s make a lifelong memory in just one shot and preserve the beauty of this rare art form.
Camera, film, photos
Starting at a cafe near Prince and Broadway in one of Manhattan’s trendiest neighborhoods, you’ll stroll over old cobblestone streets and in between historic cast-iron buildings.
