We'll get out of the city and reconnect to nature as we hike through the Sydney Harbour National Park to Manly Beach. As the sun sets in the afternoon, we'll explore hidden beaches and Aboriginal rock engravings, and immerse in the local flora and fauna. With me, or one of our awesome volunteer guides, we'll hike 3-4 hours together (10km) and you will get to learn all the history of Sydney and area, and experience the beauty of Sydney's harbour. You can also swim at one of Sydney’s most beautiful harbour beaches. After the walk, you will have time to explore Manly beach and its famous cafes and bars. You can then take the Manly ferry back to the city, straight past the Opera House and Harbour Bridge.
Tristan is passionate about sharing his love and knowledge of Sydney's beaches and bush and gives his time and expertise voluntarily to raise funds to help kids in need. Emu Trekkers is a not-for-profit charity that offers adventurous hiking tours run by passionate, volunteer guides to raise funds to support disadvantaged kids and youth with their education, health and welfare. All the proceeds of this experience go to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation to help improve literacy among children in remote Indigenous communities in Australia.
