This is an all year round activity that suits you if you like to experience the most of the rural countryside along with some culture. Beautiful nature, scenery views, the captivating Nääs estate, a national monument with a nature reserve awaits you just 20 minutes from Gothenburg city center. We are starting our walk at Floda railway station following the beautiful lake Sävelången at its shore bypassing some lovely red houses and cottages. After a relaxing 3 km walk through enchanting nature we will reach the old manor house Nääs Slott from the 19th century with its fine park overlooking the lake. I will guide you around and show you my favorite spots along with some scenic views. At the art and craft cafe we take a break. You can enjoy a good cup of tea or coffee along with some home-made cake or pie. The cafe hosts art expositions and sells local art and clothing. After our coffee break we dive into nature once again, passing through meadows and a forest with old oak trees to get back to where we started.

Since 2011 I guide friends and family on hiking and canoe tours near Gothenburg. I´m originally from Germany. I can guide you in English, Swedish or Geman.

The craft cafe, sells coffee, tea and chocolate, lemonade, tasty sandwiches and cakes in an authentic 19th century interior.
