Take a stroll with us through the Quarter and see it's most iconic sights! We'll begin with a stroll through the beautiful Louis Armstrong Park, the birthplace of Jazz music! We'll talk NOLA history and share some juicy stories before heading into the heart of the French Quarter. Our next stop is at our most iconic landmark, the St Louis Cathedral. It's a spectacular sight, and has some really interesting history, from pirate prisons to dueling grounds! Then we'll take a look around Jackson Square and we'll tell you about the statue of Andrew Jackson, the only statue in the city to be erected out of spite! Up next we'll take a quick break at a bar to get out of the sun and grab a drink! Next we'll stop by Cafe Du Monde, the oldest coffee house in the city, and explore the sweet history of beignets. Then we'll stroll along the mighty Mississippi River and talk about the (seemingly) constant flooding of New Orleans, plus the founding of the city. And finally we will make our way to the historic and bustling French Market where we'll turn you on to an up and coming landmark where you can get the best beignets in the city, hands down! Our goal is to provide a higher quality tour experience than you will get elsewhere, with small groups, full costumes, and fun extras! We take pride in our guests' experience and will work hard to ensure you have an amazing trip to New Orleans!
We're a team of four engaging, high-energy, and fun tour guides (Pandora, Jackson, JuJu, and Teri). Some of us born in NOLA, some transplanted, but all of us are head over heels in love with our city. Together we've given over a thousand tours! New Orleans has a rich tradition of oral histories and legends that we've dedicated ourselves to learning and passing on to our guests. And this being New Orleans, these stories are NOT dry or boring. Humor and a sense of playfulness is so important in capturing the spirit of New Orleans' history, especially the morbid parts (and there are a lot of those!). We each chose to put down roots in New Orleans because it's a place that speaks to us on a deep level. Being able to make a living by sharing our connection and love for this city with guests from around the world is a dream come true!
All over the French Quarter, stopping at our most iconic, historic, and just plain interesting landmarks! Stops include - Louis Armstrong Park, St Louis Cathedral, Jackson Square, Cafe Du Monde, the Mississippi River, and the French Market!
