活動內容

After setting up our mats, I will invite you to arrive on your mat as you are, to hold space for yourself exactly as you are, where you are. We will open our practice with pranayama (breath work) practice, which will allow you to feel at home, inside and outside of your body. Our class will aim to balance the qualities of effort and ease while holding compassionate self-awareness. The class will includes a warm-up, postures to strengthen and stretch the body, breathing practices to awaken and relax the nervous system, and time for integration.

The encouragement throughout practice is to find your own balance of strength, stretch, and ease. Combining elements of yin and hatha yoga, this practice will allow your tension and stress to melt away into the ocean. This seaside class will allow you to transform the mind, body, and spirit, at your own pace.​

Yin Yoga is a slower, more passive practice that is suitable for people of all ages, body types, and experience levels. Yin Yoga mainly targets the connective tissues from the waist down (hips, pelvis, lower spine) for at least 80% of the practice. We will be holding asanas (poses) for 1-3 minutes at a time, lengthening muscles and applying healthy stress on connective tissues and joints for a deep release and calming of the central nervous system.

Hi! My name is Olivia and I offer imaginative and playful yoga classes that weave my love of flow, laughter, storytelling, music, and dance with my knowledge of mindfulness, meditation, pranayama, and yogic philosophy. Utilizing all of these components, my classes work to facilitate deep openings of the heart, body, and mind.

Specializing in Hatha flow, Vinyasa, and Yin styles of yoga asana, I share in-depth instructions on alignment, sequencing, and awareness of the breath that engage learners of all levels. I am certified to teach yoga by Yoga Alliance and have completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training.

體驗地點

We will gather at the Pacific Beach Pier and walk to the shoreline together. Our mats will be set up in the sand.

If you have your own mat, please bring it along with you. If you need a mat, please let me know ahead of time and I’ll provide one for you.

Ahhh where do I start ?! Although I'm very new to Yoga, I left feeling extremely relaxed. Olivia was very knowledgeable about the poses. She is incredible at guiding you through the session, almost like guided imagery. Rest assured, I guarantee you'll leave with heightened senses, clearer vision and grounded feeling! This was an amazing experience. Olivia made me feel really comfortable and was very welcoming. I couldn’t imagine a better experience... combining two of my favorite loves... yoga and the beach... was an out of this world experience!

It was wonderful. Olivia was very friendly and calming. Although I was a complete beginner, she made sure I could follow the poses comfortably. It was a slow-paced, super relaxing yoga experience in a great environment with the waves, the sand and the sun. I’d definitely come back.

This was a very calming experience! A slower kind of yoga that my husband and I had not done before. It was definitely more focused on holding poses to stretch muscles rather than firing them up through a flow. I really enjoyed my time! Olivia’s voice was super calming as well. The only thing was that due to how close we were to the waves, they drowned her voice out at times as well as the music so sometimes it was hard to follow!
