You will enjoy a 6-course Peranakan/local dinner in my home. Each dish is made from scratch with fresh market ingredients from Tiong Bahru Market. You can also request certain dishes that fulfils your dietary preferences. We'll have dinner together and I can share more about my culture.
My two passions are music and food. As an acclaimed violinist, I served as a co-concertmaster in the Singapore Symphony Orchestra. Music has always been my medium for expressing my feelings and thoughts. This love of self-expression through my violin has carried over into my cooking and brought me on a culinary journey that has led to hosting many dinner parties. I’ve hosted dinners for friends and family over my lifetime, so based on a Taiwanese friend’s recommendation, I decided to do private dining about 5 years ago. I love delighting friends—both old and new—with an ensemble of gourmet creations.
You can also bring your own beer/wine.
This will be held in my home situated in a heritage-rich area where I grew up in - Tiong Bahru, where the market is most famous in Singapore for its fresh produce. Guests can also take their own heritage walkabout to explore more about this neighbourhood.
