We offer a premium sailing experience aboard the vintage sailing yacht “Liberty”. Our vessel is a work of art unlike any boat on the bay. She is flawlessly maintained with high standards of pride and craftsmanship. You will fall in love with her mirror-finish wood accents, beautiful cozy cabin and clean facilities. This is an all-inclusive 2 ½ hour experience with beer, wine, soft drinks and snacks. Play some music and relax on cushioned seats as we sail the scenic waters of San Diego Bay. Feel free to steer the boat and feel the power of the wind in the sails. Our sailing experience is limited only to 6 guests. You can sail with other travelers or select a private cruise for just you and your friends and family.

Our Friendship Sloop “Liberty” is a prime example of the diverse legacy of American maritime tradition. In this modern age we need to remember that our nautical roots are based in wood, canvas and craftsmanship. Keeping this legacy alive is my goal.
I am a licensed captain with over 50 years experience sailing and restoring classic vessels. My wife, Jessica, and our energetic son, Hobie, clean and maintain our beautiful boat. My brother and I restored Liberty ourselves and you will fall in love with her wooden mast, teak accents, and classic lines. Join us -there's a good chance of spotting sea lions, pelicans, cormorants, and maybe even a dolphin !

Starting from Harbor Island (directly across from the airport), we’ll head in a northerly direction towards Point Loma and then circle back along Coronado Island. We'll cruise past military ships, view the Coronado Bridge, USS Midway, Maritime Museum, and the San Diego skyline, with wildlife spotting along the way.
