Parque Ibirapuera is one of South America's largest urban parks! It features a range of São Paulo's iconic architectural sights and you'll have sight-spotting opportunities while we cross the park's cultural area. This experience is perfect for anyone who wants to have an energising run outdoors during their holidays or business travels!
I am a passionate runner who is lucky enough to have the wonderful Parque Ibirapuera in her neighbourhood. During my travels it has always taken me some time to find a city's greenest running routes. I thought it'd be great to help fellow runners to find São Paulo's hidden gems! Before moving to São Paulo I have been a member of the Manchester Running Club in England, participated in local Park Runs and introduced friends and visitors to the greenest secluded routes in the city. Having run for over six years I know the hints and tricks that keeps your running healthy and joyful.
We will run along the secluded footpaths tucked away from the park's main roads. Edging the perimeter of the park they take us through lush wooded areas and less trodden trails. Halfway through our run we will spot some of the park's iconic buildings. We will then continue on a footpath which takes us to the lake, winding along its edges and offering stunning views on the city stretching out beyond the park
The park has a few water fountains. We will pass by at least one of them halfway through our run. For times outside the published slots, please get in touch!
