In the quiet residential area , there are several attractive spots on the way to Shoseikaku. You’ll take the Kanda River sidewalk, the cherry tree-lined path, passing by Chinzanso, a luxurious hotel with historic Japanese gardens on camillia hills. Sekiguchi Bashoan, where Matsuo Basho, the famous haiku poet lived in Edo period is also on the way. Then the Higo Hosokawa Samurai garden which boasts a magnificent landscape appears.
Please arrive 10 min earlier than the starting time, so that we can start the tea ceremony on time. If you are late more than 20 min, we are afraid you won't be able to attend the experience.
