In this sensory-filled tea-making workshop, participants will be brought on a journey of getting acquainted with herbs, spices, flowers and fruits unique to Singapore and Asia. We will share with you each plant's unique therapeutic benefits, what your body needs and how you can blend them into tea to remedy the conditions you are experiencing. You will harvest herbs directly from our kitchen garden and create a tisane or infusion to enjoy while getting to know one another. All participants go home with a jar of your own signature tea blends and notes to continue your Apoteacary project at home.
I teach busy people to slow down, get in touch with themselves and nature, and discover natural ways they can restore and re-balance themselves. I founded Super Farmers to run nutrition-led culinary workshops and courses that encourage eating and living well in a busy city like ours. I believe that cooking should be: simple, delicious and accessible.
We will conduct our workshop in our cooking studio, aptly named HOUSE by Super Farmers, a home away from home complete with an air-conditioned classroom with access to a kitchen garden where we grow a variety of therapeutic herbs, vegetables and flowers. Nestled in a quaint and tranquil residential estate of Telok Kurau, HOUSE is housed in a building steeped in history.
