In order to avoid the day time heat during our running tour activity which directly affects our physical strength, we will start our activity at 5 A.M. in the morning right at Suanluang Park (in central Phuket town). Starting early will also give us a benefit of seeing the city when it’s not too crowded and get a chance of doing thing late people can’t do. We will spend the first 30 minutes to introduce ourselves and warm up. At 5.30 A.M. we will start our run through the city, get to an awesome city view point, park, sunrise, and beautiful street art along the way. The total distance of this whole trip by foot is around 12 km (1 hill included). We will finish at the old town Phuket at around 7.30 A.M. During the 2 hours we will spend time running from points to points, rest, take photos and enjoy the fresh morning air including stop for refueling. We would almost end our journey with one of the best roti bread breakfast in town. The restaurant provides variety of local menu and drinks beside roti bread. Lastly we will walk with our full tummy and enjoyment to the central fresh market to catch a local Phuket original ‘Potong’ bus back to the park where we started at around 9.30 A.M. Do not worry about the running too much if you are not a strong runner. This activity is more on the sightseeing with a slower pace which the group is capable of and we will make stops for refueling
I’m a passionate marathon runner who is on an attempt to qualify for legendary Boston Marathon. I have started running since almost 20 years ago and been sideway to compete in table tennis at national youth level and come back for running again after college. I have been training very serious for the past 3 years and have my personal best at 3:24 hr. at the Chicago Marathon 2019. I also have a 29 rooms cozy pool resort business in Phuket, so I thought it would be good if I can combine my 2 passions of hospitality and sport to extend the experience of visitors in Phuket with a unique experience of running, city sightseeing, visiting landmarks and locally unknown place, enjoying local breakfast and etc. My expectation is to make more friends who share the same passion and ensure that they get their best time spent in Phuket.

We will start our activity at Suanluang Park in Phuket town and will head toward Rang Hill which provides a wonderful view of Phuket town. Next we will city run toward Sapanhin park and sport complex to catch beautiful sunrise and turn around toward the city again to visit the old town Phuket with plenty of history and street art. We will eat at one of the best roti bread breakfast in town before getting on a original local bus experience back.
This city run tour is highly enjoyable and fun yet requires quite an amount of physical strength and power. The total distance of the trip is around 12 km on foot. Please kindly double check on your fitness confident level that you will be able to cover the distance within 2 hrs of The run and rest.
