You’ll arrive and get kitted out with farm boots or shoes and then straight to the chickens to collect eggs in our chicken caravans, also checking food and water. Then once all eggs are safely away we will continue our farm walk to visit the cows and calves along with the sheep and check out any newborn lambs. We will walk or drive to the hill to check out the view of Westernport Bay and surrounding farms. In March/April we are harvesting in the olive grove and we can pick olives and take some home for pickling.
I’m a passionate female farmer who enjoys sharing farming knowledge about where your nutrient dense food comes from. I am farming without the use of herbicide or pesticides in a free range environment. Our chickens are housed in repurposed caravans that are moved daily around the farm. Free range Australian White sheep and Angus cows and calves graze in paddocks and our organic 750 tree olive grove. Our 3 Maremma livestock guardian dogs and 2 kelpies will also greet you on arrival.
We will tour our Farm walking whilst on flat ground. We will then have a walk or drive into the paddocks to visit our livestock that graze outside 24/7 365 days/year. Regenerative agriculture building soil and storing carbon. Stroll through the 750 tree olive grove. Everything on the farm is sustainable. It’s a fabulous place to see and experience. We will also stop and admire the view over Westernport Bay Phillip Island and French Island.
Great for children and adults. Children Under 17 years $7.50 accompanied with adults. As this is a working farm supervision of children is required at all times. Pay for children on the day as Airbnb doesn’t have price tiers as yet. Children must wear covered shoes no sandals or thongs.
