My husband Laszlo and I bought our old family property back 30 years ago. We learned farming the authentic way, from our grandparents and parents, and we have been farming here ever since. Our organic farm is located on 20 hectars, in the Great Hungarian Plain, “puszta”. We are growing a wide variety of native plants and raising indigenous farm animals as well, mainly the mangalica pigs and racka sheep. We find it very important to preserve the biological diversity and heritage of this area. I am an expert on organic farming, and qualified as an instructor, also specializing in medicinal herbs. I am a regular guest speaker on an daily radio show about farming. In 1998 our farm received the Henry Ford European Conservation National Award to recognize our contribution to the conservation of our natural environment and cultural heritage.
