I am the owner of Portland’s first all organic herbal supplier, The Herb Shoppe. This local apothecary has a wide array of herbal products I have formulated for every part of daily life, from salves, tinctures, and teas to natural cleaning products and herbal pet supplies. These ideas have materialized in conjunction with my continuing self-education in herbalism. I have found myself under the apprenticeship of Rosemary Gladstar, Jon Keyes, and Nicole Welkes as my physical and spiritual connection with plants deepens. I strive to unite my community with accessible herbal cures and positive community engagement through my product line and through my herbal classes.
All of the herbal products that we are making and more that are available for purchase at The Herb Shoppe will be available…
We will have the Tea of the Month on sample throughout the course.
We will be conducting our herbal creation at the Herb Shoppe, located on Mississippi ave in NE Portland. The workshop will be held in the herbal preparations lab where the shop does all of its production, so you will get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of an apothecary in-action as you experiment with your own concoctions.
You'll be in good hands at the Herb Shoppe. Located on beautiful Mississippi ave in vibrant NE Portland, grab a bite to eat at one of the local restaurants within steps of the Herb Shoppe, and grab a mug of tea before diving into the lesson.
