The falls are flowing! Now is the time to book! We will meet at a local transportation hub, easily accessible by trolley or bus. If you are renting a car, we can meet at a different location with free parking for the day. I will provide transportation in my personal vehicle. To get to Three Sisters Falls, it is a scenic 1.75 hour drive on both paved and dirt roads with lots of views and wildlife. You will get to sit back and relax watch the sunrise as we drive into the wilderness. When we get to the trailhead, we will have a brief safety talk, gather our belongings and begin the 45 minute downhill hike to the waterfall! On the way down, you will have plenty of opportunities to see wildlife, flowers and take lots of photos! Upon reaching the falls, we will explore the general area, hike around the rocks, swim in the water, and you will even be able to slide down the massive 100 foot natural waterslide! The waterslide is by far the most popular feature of this hike and an awesome photo/video opportunity! After we have explored the falls (2 hours), we will gather for a group photo and begin the hike uphill back to the car. The hike back to the trailhead takes around 1 hour and we will take short breaks every 15 mins to catch our breaths and drink some water. Upon arriving to the car, we will drive back to the City/Meeting area
My passion is getting people outdoors, sharing my knowledge with others and having as much fun as possible! Born and raised in San Diego, I have been exploring the local mountains and waterfalls since I was a small child. Since my introduction to the local mountains by my father, I have been taking people on hikes to various locations in San Diego since I was 16. Hiking and the outdoors is a huge part of my life and I have hundreds under my belt locally and internationally. Considering San Diegos popular beaches and coastal attractions, the local mountains and waterfalls are rarely visited by visitors, so I started this tour to show guests the less explored San Diego. I am CPR and first aid certified and a California Department of Fish and Wildlife guide.
I will provide snacks/water for the car ride/hike and sandwiches from local deli.
I will transport guests in my truck or van.
Three Sisters Falls is one of the most beautiful and difficult hikes in the San Diego mountains. The name is derived from the 3 back to back waterfalls that reside at the end of the hiking trail. These waterfalls are present due to snow and spring water runoff from the local mountains and Lake Cuyamaca. With enough water, the 3rd waterfall creates a 100 foot natural waterslide that is by far one of the funnest things you will do in San Diego!
最多10人參加，年齡須滿12歲。 Guests should be physically active and be able to finish a 5 mile hike in both hot or cold weather depending on conditions and time of year.
PLEASE INQUIRE FOR DATES NOT LISTED OR PRIVATE TOURS. Three sisters falls is a difficult 5 mile hike and should only be attempted by active individuals. The waterfalls are conditions based and depends on rain/water released from the dam. The best time to see the falls is from January-June.
