Join me and my crew as we sail to Fuerte San Fernando the most beautiful Fort in Cartagena, which protected the only entrance to the Bay of Cartagena. After a quick tour where I tell my favorite stories from the War of Jenkins Ear and the Battle of Cartagena we have lunch at a rustic beach club , relax in the shade and drink Pirates Punch and Pirates Lemonade. Or regular punch and lemonade for the kids! Then it is back on the Pirate Ship La Fantastica and begin our journey back to Centro with more music, drinks, and comradery. The Plan: We will push off the dock promptly at 8:30am where our Pirate Ship Crew will provide a welcome beverage and deliver the safety briefing. Depending on the wind, we plan to hoist the sails as much as possible. We will storm Fort San Fernando like the pirates of old with a Pirate History of the fort and Pirate attacks on Cartagena, along with time for pictures and exploring. After a Quick Tour at the fort and One of a Kind Photos, we will take a short walk to the Boca Chica Beach Club for a typical Cartagena lunch, swimming, and relaxing at a Tranquil Beach. Then reboard the Ship and enjoy a the best views returning to the City. INCLUSIONS • Typical Cartagena Lunch • Open Bar of Limonada with Aguardiente, Piratas Punch with Rum • Open Bar Non-Alcoholic Limonada, Piratas Punch, Agua • Chairs and Umbrellas
I'm Joshua the Gingo Pirate of Cartagena. I sailed my ship La Fantastica from Boston in search of my next great adventure. Join me and my crew on a Sailing Adventure where we capture the Fort San Fernando de Boca Chica, and learn about the men who fought and died fighting over it. Then celebrate our Victory with a Beach Lunch from the Locals, and an Open Bar of Limonada de Piratas (Aquardiente) and Pirates Punch (Rum). Once we have had our fill we will head back to the ship and start the journey back to Centro toasting our victorious day with more music, drinks, and comradery.

San Fernando de Boca Chica - After the Vernon attack in 1741 many of the defenses have been ruined and need repairs and the island of Tierrabomba is no exception. In 1742, the military engineers Juan Bautista arrived in Cartagena and rebuilt the fort that has since be restored to it's former glory. Boca Chica Beach Club is a new beach club on the Atlantic Ocean with plenty of Sand and beautiful waters.
