On the John F Kennedy Assassination tour, we take you through the events of the day from a perspective not found on other tours. You'll find out why JFK was even in Dallas that day and why that route for the motorcade chosen. We lay out the incredible coincidences and timing that culminated in a national tragedy that is as poignant today as it was in 1963. We also tell the story of Jackie Kennedy's tremendous loss and her overwhelming grief. A story often overlooked. You've heard how she was stoic and poised in public, which she was, but we take you deeper into the private, human side of the story. You'll stand in disbelief as you hear these untold stories and wonder if you could have withstood the same public pressure if you were in her shoes. Not just the Assassination, but other, equally devastating life experiences. The walking tour ends at the Sixth Floor Museum. There you can continue with a self guided tour equipped with headsets. We will help you buy tickets, give an overview of the Museum and help you with a speedy entrance.

The tour begins at the John Neely Bryan Cabin in Founders Plaza. From there we explore the area in and around Dealey Plaza National Historic Landmark District. Including the John F. Kennedy Memorial Plaza, the Old Red Museum and the infamous Grassy Knoll. The tour will end at The Sixth Floor Museum, formally the Texas School Book Depository. There you can continue on a self guided tour of the Museum and see the Plaza from Oswald's point of view.
This 1 hour tour is a perfect addition to other activities planned for the day. The walk is leisurely and only encompasses about 1/2 mile. All stops are shady or air conditioning spaces. Visual aids are provided in the form of slides that the guide presents at each stop to enhance the experience.
