• I'll walk you through the less beaten paths in Venice, teaching you how to linger on the colours and the details, showing you what most of the tourist don't see: the most characteristic canals, the small bridges, the clothes hanging from the windows, children playing by the street, eldelries that go back home with their groceries.... • You don't need to own a professional camera, you can use your smartphone as well. All the pictures you see here have been taken with a simple iPhone SE (not really a fancy model, right?) • This walk is for everyone! I want it to be a small friendly group of people excited to explore and photograph Venice while discussing and confronting pictures and inspiring each other! Don't worry if you're a complete beginner, I can help you learn better the manual settings of your camera (if you have a reflex)
I'm a professional photographer specialized in wedding and portraits, but in my free time I love to take travel pictures and Venice is always so inspiring! I discovered photography when I was 15 years old and in the last few years I could make it a job. I love to travel and meet new people. I can speak English, French, Spanish and of course Italian! We’ll meet in Campo dei Tolentini, right in front of Piazzale Roma. We'll walk through Dorsoduro and Santa Marta, two residential and characteristic areas in Venice. We’ll get to “Punta della Dogana” where you’ll have a pretty view over the lagoon and San Marco Square. Note that the tour can be flexible based on your tastes because as the writer Tiziano Scarpa said, it’s better to get lost in Venice rather than follow the map.
