When you arrive at my house/studio you will first find a table with tea and a little snack to give you time to arrive and slow down, so I can answer any questions you might have before we start. Your mat and props will be already set up, we will do a quick pranayama (breathing) and meditation exercise and then we will start the yoga class. We will seal the class with pranayama and meditation and close with aromatherapy and thai massage while you enjoy your final rest in savasana. The class itself will be a vinyasa flow based on Ashtanga.
I am a big mix of the serenity from Brazilian beaches and the craziness of NYC. Looking for a more balanced mind and lifestyle, from Copacabana to Manhattan, I achieved my 200-HR RYT YTT, Aerial and Acroyoga certifications this year. Now I couldn’t be more excited to share my practice and help my students find the bliss that is yoga. My calm and soft voice will you make you want to sleep during a Thai massage or Restorative Yoga class. If that’s not your style, we can fly together through the silks of Aerial Yoga or play with acrobatics and other partners in Acroyoga. Based on this rushed modern world, I am happy to teach a 45 minute Vinyasa class that will make you sweat like crazy; even though my true passion is a longer and creative class with a portion of yoga philosophy and meditation.
