This is going to be a spectacular afternoon for you allowing yourself to experience both the hassle and the fun of Philippine urban life in Manila. At around 1pm, we’re meeting at the DLTB Bus Station in Taft Avenue, Pasay near Gil Puyat LRT Station. From there, we are taking a public transportation going to Quiapo to visit the church first where most Filipino people go to. Then, from there, we’re taking another ride going to Divisoria where we are going to start shopping. I’ll help you communicate with the locals and get the best and cheapest price we could. You’ll experience a Filipino way of negotiating. At around 3:00pm, we’ll have our first set of local food and/or street food for our “merienda” to keep us energize the whole afternoon while you guys go shopping. At around 4:00pm, we’ll take another ride going to Greenhills to continue shopping for more items and exploring the area. On your way to Greenhills, you can observe the busy life of Manila and the community. At around 7:00pm in Greenhills, we’re having our Filipino dinner together. Then, we’ll go back together to Makati. Expect to be very active as this will be a bit tedious yet a lot of fun.
I am an outgoing and fun-living dynamic individual. When I started promoting parties and tried living in a hostel, that’s when I began to fully enjoy meeting new people. I’ve loved accommodating people who are new to the place and helping them get around to immensely experience a different culture and new people around them. I believe I can easily relate to most people I meet by making them feel like they just found their long lost friend in me helping them around and making them feel safe as we create new memories.
I’ll get you our first round of “merienda” and some snacks/appetizier before dinner.
We’re taking the public transporation but it’s on me.
We’re visiting a public market where you can find the cheapest items in the asian and Filipino market. We’ll also go to spots where we can enjoy some street food and delicious local food.
Please don’t bring a lot cause the market might be crowded. Please bring your po ket money so you can go shopping and please bring a really safe bag so you can keep your belongings safe.
