We will meet in the parking area, after which we will have a meet and greet session. We will give you a brief introduction to trail running if you are a novice. Note: The trails are not too technical, so normal running/hiking shoes will be fine. After the introduction, we will take you on a 2 hour run/hike past the most scenic parts of the reserve, including some wildlife, the beautiful dams with ample birdlife and some historical landmarks.
June and Daniel Smith, also known as “Team ZENfit” are Endurance Athletes, Fitness Junkies, Mentors, Nature Lovers and Advocates for Minimalism, Soulful Nourishment with Real Food. Between us we have competed in the Ironman Triathlon, the Comrades Ultra Marathon, Mont Aux Sources Trail Run, the ELB Extreme Road Challenge, and The Erg Ultra 24 Hour Crossfit Challenge, and too many marathons and trail runs to mention.

The experience will take place at the beautiful Modderfontein Nature Reserve, situated in a 275-hectare private park in Gauteng (about 5km as the crow flies from Sandton). There is wildlife on the property, including wildebeest, zebra, springbok and blesbok with loads of birdlife, especially around the three large dams (including Fish Eagle).
