I'm a founder of OsloWay, a sustainable tour guide and tour operator in Oslo. I have been living in Norway for almost 5 years now and working with tourists and sustainability for more than 1 year. I believe that travelling sustainably is about to get a better travel experience. It is about a great adventure, meeting locals who are happy to host them, and feeling good about themselves in terms of environment and our future.
The tour starts at Oslo Opera House and continues through such highlights as Akershus Fortress and Medieval city Kvadraturen. From there we re-join the fjord promenade and walk around Oslo City Hall, Nobel Peace Prize Center and Aker Brygge which used to be a centre of Oslo port industry. We conclude our walk in Tjuvholmen, the former "island of thiefs" and today's modern residential area full of great restaurants, cafes, sculptures and beaches.
