I am a passionate Mountain Leader whose first visit to the Lake District 30 years ago inspired a lifetime of adventure. I believe the attraction of British mountains is the solitude and the wilderness, combined with the history and stories surrounding these places. Based just outside Brecon, I have spent thousands of hours exploring the Brecon Beacons, seeking out those hidden gems and stories before they are all forgotten. I am a fully qualified Mountain Leader, hold a valid Remote First Aid Certificate, a member of Mountain Training Association, member of the British Mountaineering Council, a Brecon Beacons National Park Ambassador, Black Mountains & Moorland Ambassador, Brecon Beacons Dark Skies Ambassador and fully insured for your peace of mind.
I can provide head torches to anyone that does not have one.
This experience takes place in the Brecon Beacons National Park, awarded International Dark Skies Reserve in 2013. We will visit the two highest mountains in the area, Corn Du and Pen y Fan.
