We will embark on our professional photo session in North East Minneapolis. Here we will learn the basics of photography with super artsy, unique, and edgy backgrounds. Once we have the basics down, we’ll take a walk on the famous Stone Arch bridge overlooking the falls and the Minneapolis skyline. After crossing the bridge, we will explore a high point at the Guthrie theater overlooking the water and city. We will also shoot near the Mill City Museum, which is very historical to Minnesota and carries a special atmosphere that will be captured in the photos. This last stop will conclude the tour throughout the Twin Cities. You won’t need any prior experience shooting, we’ll go over all the basics. If you’re already familiar with photography they’ll be a lot to explore and play around with!
Hi! I have been a photographer shooting in the Twin Cities since 2007. I was born in St. Paul and have lived in Minnesota my whole life. Although, that hasn’t stopped me from traveling and meeting new people. I have had the opportunity to visit over 35 countries around the globe. My passion and love is photography. I started my business in 2007 and have shot a lot of freelance work over the years. I have taken pictures of dignitaries, celebrities, and politicians, as well as private events, conferences, weddings, and portraits throughout my years of shooting. I also shoot for the Minnesota Daily, which takes me to events all around the Twin Cities.
I will have my Canon 6D Mark ii to shoot with but we can also work with any DSRL or iphone camera!
The first stop will be in North East Minneapolis which is full of art galleries and craft breweries along the water. We will then walk along the Stone Arch Bridge, a former railroad bridge, overlooking the Mississippi River and downtown Minneapolis. After crossing the bridge, we’ll head to the Guthrie, one of the best theaters in the Minnesota, and shoot at some high points there. Finally, we'll make our way to the Mill City Museum!
