We'll meet to outline how to plan for and execute the production of professional-looking short videos. We'll cover everything from when to shoot, how to work with natural lighting, how to tell stories responsibly, best methods to shoot short interviews as well as b-roll. Be prepared to jump into the action and get hands-on experience with professional camera gear if you prefer. Or use your phone and shoot your own short video.

We will meet at the Mombasa Intercontinental Hotel entrance gate and make our way to the baron the beach to meet and discuss storytelling technique. We will then venture onto the beach to do some hands-on shooting of the ocean, landscape, interviews with locals and broll. Then we will return to the venue for a wrap-up to prepare yourself for your own storytelling.
You can be either a beginning or advanced participate with an interest in any type of storytelling - documentary, screenwriting, music, poetry and more! I can help walk you through the process of creating stronger stories for the social good and give advice on how to distribute them internationally
