I qualified as an Alexander Technique teacher in April 2008 (MSTAT) and then trained to teach Mindfulness with Breathworks and Bangor University and Exeter University. I am a listed teacher on the UK Mindfulness Network which requires teachers to have undergone in-depth training, a personal practice and adherence to Good Practice Guidelines. I offer one-to-one or small group sessions in mindfulness. Both beginner and experienced participants are guided through different practices such as sitting meditations, bodyscans (bringing awareness to different parts of the body) and mindful movement (simple movements and stretches are practised with full awareness of the body). The mindfulness sessions are held at my home in Saltash. The space is simple - the lounge and conservatory blend into one with bifold doors and natural seagrass carpet throughout. Participants often comment on how peaceful the space feels.
