You'lll be walking and talking around part of the Northern harbour waterfront, parklands and urban streetscapes and learning about Sydney through the eyes of a local. Discovering what makes Sydney Harbour less a city and more a home. The walk is not signposted - it involves going on the boardwalk but also the hidden back streets of North Sydney and Kirribilli and discovering secret gardens, sculptures, community gardens and best coffee spots. No tourist brochure would offer this sort of walk! We'll meet Milson's Point Station then amble down under the bridge and through beautiful gardens to the boardwalk around Lavender Bay, Luna Park then under the Sydney Harbour Bridge across from the Opera House. We'll then take the stairs up to Kirribilli's best streets, viewing beautiful homes and gardens, finishing with a well deserved coffee at one of Sydney's best waterfront cafes. You'll have breaks along in the way to share stories about the people of Sydney, the history, the gardens. You can try a quintessential Aussie snack, check out the boats on the harbour and the local sailing club and get some great photo opportunities of the city's main attractions and suggestions of other things to do in Sydney.
