Join me for an unforgettable experience exploring the natural beauty of North Queensland. After pick up from your accommodation at 8am, we’ll travel up the picturesque Macalister Range through the Kuranda National Park. On arrival we’ll kit up and set off kayaking through the lush forest which lines the banks of the mighty Barron River. The river’s ecosystem of huge trees, vines, lianas and ferns is abundant with native wildlife including the white breasted sea eagle, the cassowary, turtles, a variety of fish and many reptiles. We’ll soon reach a secluded rapids waterfall location perfect for a swim, a delicious lunch and a spot of fishing, where we can enjoy and explore the natural fauna and flora in a safe, peaceful setting. On our return journey to Cairns we’ll stop for photos of the spectacular coastline at the Henry Ross Lookout, which is elevated 430m above the Coral Sea. We’ll arrive back in Cairns at approximately 1pm.
