This adult, beginner/non-swimmer snorkel experience takes place near an historic fort next to a beach with soft sand and palm trees. It’s the perfect location to learn something new fun and safely because it’s protected from ocean waves.
(Please note, minimum age is now 14. Families with children, please see our family snorkeling experience conducted by PADI Divemaster Savannah.)
Here's what your group can expect from their snorkel experience with Halie, your snorkeling instructor:
1) I'll provide a brief of your experience including:
a) introducing myself to your group,
b) safety
c) equipment use,
d) tips for successful snorkeling,
d) marine life and the marine environment at this fascinating historic location.
2) I'll issue to you sanitized, high-quality equipment, including mask, snorkel, fins, and life vest (optional) (valued at over $100 per person.)
3) In shallow water, you'll learn snorkeling, step-by-step
4) you'll have practice time in shallow water to assure individual comfort, especially non-swimmers
5) We'll then snorkel to see see blue tang, parrot fish, angel fish, and green sea turtles.
6) I'll take photos and videos throughout your snorkeling experience.
7) After snorkeling, we'll talk about the marine life we saw on the reef.
8) After, I'll transfer your complimentary videos & photos for you to enjoy and share with friends.

We will snorkel near an historic fort that protects tranquil water in Old San Juan lined with palm trees and humming with wildlife like the Puerto Rican parrot and the occasional iguana. The beach is beautiful, so guests often decide to stay and relax after snorkeling.
(Restrooms facilities are a 3-minute walk. Outdoor showers are provided. Please arrive prepared to avoid missing your experience.)

This was such a great experience, from start to end I enjoyed everything. Hailey is the best , she’s so down to earth and makes sure you enjoy the experience. Don’t hesitate, you should definitely book this . It’s amazing cause it’s a small group so you get the full experience not like other places I’ve tried before.

Amazing is all I can say. This was my second time snorkeling and this was by far the best. Halie did great with explaining how to get started and educating us on animals and how to use equipment. She was very efficient and fun to be around. She helped us all through the wonderful experience. I couldn’t ask for a better host!!!
