My passion for food is always there but the decision of becoming a professional chef happened after I indulged in a hearty Chicken Betutu (a traditional Balinese dish) at a restaurant in Sanur one day. It is only then that I came to realise how a perfectly executed meal could bring happiness to someone! Since then, I was determined to become the expert behind such masterpiece! I learned my cooking skills at a hospitality school in Bali. Fast forward to now, I am a senior cook at the Goya Boutique Resort and every day I put my heart and soul in creating and delighting my guests with the flavours of Bali, alongside international cuisine. The best part is that I get to meet people from all over the world, with different cultures and backgrounds. I believe good food brings people together and I find joy in cooking for others!
