We will meet at our beautiful property located at the headwaters of Ayers Creek. A calm beautiful waterway with limited public access. We will outfit you with a kayak, paddle, and personal floatation device. All of our equipment is high quality, comfortable and well maintained. We will cover basic paddling instructions prior to getting on the water. Our calm water protected location is perfect for all levels of paddlers. Our unique Yak-a-launcher makes kayak entry and exit easy by stabilizing the kayak and providing a hand rail. We begin and end our tours at the same location. Paddle will be approx 1.5 hours. We will explore the magnificent salt marshes of Ayers and Trappe creek. Experience first hand the vast array of wildlife including bald eagles, herons, egrets, osprey, ducks, turtles, and muskrat as you paddle these peaceful waters. The coastal bays watershed exhibits the highest diversity of habitats and living creatures in Maryland. We will also use dip nets and check our crab pots along way to get a glimpse of the life underwater as well. We love to share our knowledge of the area and the wildlife with our visitors. Steven is the 4th generation of his family to live here and has many stories passed down from his grandfather and great grandfather
