Our E bike experience will allow you to explore the beautiful scenery and history of the Sirhowy Valley area with the amazing power of our pedal assisted electric mountain bikes. After an introduction to the E bikes and instruction on how to use them, when everyone is comfortable and happy with their bike we set off on our adventure. We will start out on quiet lanes heading to the top of Mynyddislwyn and its medieval church, then decend to the local village, where we access Cwmcarn Forrest via a hidden route and follow forrest roads to the top of Mynydd Maen (views of Twmbarlwm a 2000 old Iron Age fort and spectacular views of the Bristol Channel and surrounding area). We then enjoy an exhilarating ride down to the visitor centre and get our well earned coffee and cake, our break is followed by a relaxing ride home following the canal path and a disused railway line. The E bikes make it all good fun, they are Eco Friendly (batteries charged by solar panels) The terrain is tarmac lanes, gravel forest roads and some single track. Refreshments will be available on return and we can share stories and photos from the day, you will leave with a completely new perspective on the area, new friends and wanting to get yourself an E bike!!
