We will meet at the station and I will guide you to the cemetery where the Macrobiotics founder, Mr.George Ohsawa is buried. After, we'll go for a hike in the mountains to immerse ourselves in nature. You will be greeted by yellow rape flowers and pink peach blossoms on the way to the mountain. If your visit is at the end of March to early April, you may get to see Cherry blossoms. Then we will have a nice Japanese vegan bento lunch that I made earlier under cherry blossom trees. We'll walk down to my home, where you can learn how to make Sakuramochi,/cherry blossom cake. There, I'll give you a short talk on Macrobiotics over dessert that we have made together. This is a full day tour of about 7 hours. This experience is held in Saitama prefecture and it takes about 2 hours from central Tokyo by train. (About an hour and a half from Shibuya Station.) Please note that you will get back to Tokyo around 8~9pm I can introduce a very small and old cosy ryokan, Japanese style hotel near my home with very reasonable price if you want to stay overnight. IMPORTANT: If it rains, we may cancel the hiking portion of the experience and do some indoor activities instead!
