Take a break from shopping to taste 3 of our Champagne award winning cuvées paired with 10g of Caviar. You will be getting at least one glass of each cuvée and a 10g tin of caviar Oscietra per person. The Oscietra is a caviar extracted from the Russian sturgeon, a species with origins from the Caspian Sea, Black Sea and Azov Sea. A medium-sized fish that can weigh from 20 to 60 kg (44 to 132 lbs). This elegant roe with a diameter between 2.7 to 3.2 mm (7/64 to 1/8 inch) boasts a soft flavor with fruity notes and delicate nutty aromas. The color ranges from dark brown to beige. Considered to be one of the more notable caviars. During your experience you will learn either from Frederic or Stéphane about the champagne elaboration process, our terroir, our region, the pairing with caviar, the differences between small and large producers... and soak up our unique and chic Champagne environment.
It has been more than 10 years since the champagne adventure started for me. After having worked in major international groups specializing in wines and spirits, traveling the globe and discovering some of the finest terroirs, I naturally focused my attention on champagne. This elegant and precious wine is particularly interesting to me for its complex development, which I compare to pastry—a mixture of technique and know-how, of chemical reactions, patience, and methodology. It's a blend that aims for a certain perfection in taste, offering sweetness to both the palate and the spirit.

The venue is close the Bellecour Metro Station, as well as parking garages at République, Bellecour Poncet, and Celestins. Chai Lombardi is in a Haussmannian apartment overlooking rue de la République in the heart of downtown Lyon. The space is divided into thematic areas: the climate-controlled wine cellar, the cozy reception area, and the laboratory-like tasting room.
