NOTE: MARCH IS KIDDING MONTH! IF A GOAT IS IN LABOR DURING YOUR EXPERIENCE TIME, I MAY MEET TO MODIFY YOUR EXPERIENCE! (You may be helping me birth baby goats!) Your experience begins with a tour of our farm. You'll get up close and personal with our 2 Livestock Guardian Dogs who will greet you upon your arrival. Then it's into the pastures to meet and feed treats to our people-friendly Nubian goats, alpacas, heritage-breed turkeys, Merino sheep, and trained mini pigs. After the farm tour, guests will take a goat-milk soap making class. Then we'll felt our soap with our alpaca fiber and Merino sheep wool.
Cheeses/crackers and fresh organic fruit bowl (We can accommodate gluten-free)
Class participants take home a felted-soap creation.
Your experience takes place on our 10 acre farm in rural Santa Margarita. Classes are conducted on our beautiful umbrella-covered patio.
Wear closed-toe, sturdy shoes
Please wear farm-appropriate attire. Closed-toe shoes that you don't mind getting dirty are a must! Sunscreen is recommended. Note: Since this experience is held entirely outdoors, it is subject to cancellation during winter months due to inclement weather.
