There are more than 10 Michelin-rated restaurants in Kagurazaka. Politicians and celebrities come to eat here, but the best shops are hidden from the main street, so the place is very difficult to figure out, and most menus are only in Japanese. Many restaurants in Kagurazaka are very closed off and do not advertise at all. They are already known to gourmets in the area and do not want more customers, as they feel it will deteriorate their quality. They tend to be more expensive—2,000 to 5,000 JPY for lunch—but have no trouble filling their limited seating. Most good restaurants in Kagurazaka are hard to find even for Japanese people. While guiding you around the hot spots of Kagurazaka, I will take you to lunch and dessert. We can go to a first-class sushi shop, a very good quality izakaya—Japanese-style pub—(night time only) or anything else you might have heard about and want to see. I will guide you to high-quality food. After or in between eating, I will also show you famous shrines, temples, and local landmarks. Please let me know if you'd rather do dinner in Kagurazaka. The town transforms into a different world as the sun sets, and I know all the best places.
I used to be a writer, but now I generally take it easy (though I still sometimes blog at Foodies Journey In Tokyo). I am food lover and I wrote about food , so I have lived in the Kagurazaka neighborhood for over 10 years. I have traveled all over the world and eaten all sorts of delicious local foods, and I love to interact with people from other countries. In my travels, I have had really delicious meals in places I could only have visited with local people, and I would like to do the same for others. Let me help make your trip a wonderful one by showing you amazing Japanese food. My instagram → kaorukaoru08
