Afrobeat Fit is the perfect marriage of my passion for my West African culture and my love for dance. I was born partially deaf which was corrected by surgery and my mother enrolled me in dance classes soon after. I often joke that the first thing I heard was music. I started dancing at the tender age of 2 and continued dancing, training and working as a professional dance to this very day. I am in love with Afro Dance, Tap, Hip Hop and Step Dance. I currently work as a Director of Diversity and Inclusion at a local college.
