Guests are served exquisite live classical music by New York’s most celebrated artists, artisanal coffee and pastries, a taste of the spoken word, and a brief celebration of silence. The entire experience lasts one hour. In these unsettling times, GatherNYC provides a place to fortify beauty and peace. **While we try to accommodate various dietary needs and preferences, we cannot guarantee that any specific type of food will be served.
My name is Laura Metcalf, and I’m a cellist. Along with my husband, classical guitarist Rupert Boyd, we are the founders and co-artistic directors of GatherNYC. We also comprise the duo Boyd Meets Girl. We released our self-titled debut album in 2017, which reached No. 3 on the Billboard Traditional Classical Chart. Over the past several years we have toured together throughout the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Nepal and India. We’re thrilled to be presenting great music in our home of Manhattan, New York!
