This is a relaxed pottery sessions where you will gain practical skills and introduction to pottery! No experience is necessary. Perfect for anyone with or without previous experience and just wanting to try something new and fun! During the three hour session you are welcome to play and experiment with the clay as much as you like and indulge in some clay fun! You will be creating something handmade that is truly personal and unique that is made by you! The session will start with the demonstration of different hand building and throwing on the wheel techniques. This workshop is focused on giving you a crash course introduction to pottery and letting you enjoy various ways of working with clay. Perfect for anyone who is curious about pottery and want to have a go or want to decide if they want to commit to learning more about potter. Make some enjoyable memories ( maybe even the scene from ghost ) ! You are welcome to play and experiment as much as you like! All material provided.
I'm a founder of the Slightly Curious Studio based in London . I am an illustrator and a ceramist . I have been teaching multi-disciplinary workshop across multiple studios in London. Now I run small bespoke pottery and other creative classes from my studio in Alperton, Wembley, North London.
The studio is located in Alperton, the London Borough of Culture (LBOC) 2020. The studio is easy to get to with train, bus and overlooks the beautiful view of the grand union canal that runs across London. You can also visit other nearby landmark such as Wembley Stadium and Shri Vallabh Nidhi Mandir - Ealing Road and great connection to other parts of London .

Feel Free to bring old clothes that you don't mind getting clay on. And any food or drink you wish to eat during the session. And short nails please!
If you want to have any of the pottery glazed, there is the option to chose from range of colours and pottery will be glazed fired for £3 per piece. All glazed pieces will be ready to collect 3/4 weeks after the workshop or posted and will be kept for one month after the collection date.
