For Tehuana women having a Muxe or gay son is a blessing. For them, it is a pride that they never have to hide. The Vela Muxe is a party. The muxes dress like istmeñas women and everybody dance and celebrate traditions and diversity. We will dance sones istmeños, eat typical food, drink mezcal and beer.
