We will start in our personal garden and pick the ingredients to make our Southeast Asian menu. We will also talk and learn about each ingredient that makes our dishes special to Southeast Asian food. Each guest will have a hands on learning experience. This will be tailored to your learning desires. From fresh Rice paper spring rolls, to a great ceviche we will learn in stages making each dish. We will indulge in our making of these simple but complex dishes as we sip local wine and enjoy our surrounding of the garden. Based in the wine country ( Sonoma, Ca) we have teamed up with local winemakers to tailor wine fit for our cuisine. We love Scribe winery Riesling along with other locals wine to pair with this cuisine. We will talk in depths about the importance of healthy eating and having local fresh ingredients. Finish with a tour of a local Sonoma hot spot for good wines, shops and little hidden treasures.
Hi, my name is Keo Xayavong I grew up in Lao's. I have work with food my whole life. I love going to the garden and cooking from the heart. I have worked in professional kitchens as a chef and enjoy teaching people how to cook authentic dishes from my country. Everything from Noodles, Pho, Spring rolls, - Nam khao ( Laotian crispy rice salad ) served in lettuce cups, Goy pha ( Laotian fish salad / civiche ) served in lettuce wraps, Som tam ( green papaya salad ), Sticky rice cooked in traditional bamboo steamer basket...and we'll do Thai mango and sticky rice

This experience will be hosted at Cornerstone, Sonoma. This multifunctional outdoor paradise is the ultimate stage for our cooking experience. We will walk through the garden, visit the different landscapes, grab our produce, and even a micro green house. After a tour of this amazing property we will start our South East cooking journey. This will take place in the outdoor Sunset kitchen. Surrounded by beautiful gardens.
