Bonjour :) We will start with a 45 min tour of Old Montreal's main interesting sites, in a festive atmosphere that will get you in a holiday spirit, while teaching you some easy French words and phrases -with a Quebec twist! We will end our visit at Mandy's, a lovely café and salad restaurant, in Old Montreal, where I will provide you with a list of helpful French phrases, while practicing, and sipping a warm drink of your choice, all in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. I use the Neurolinguistic approach to language learning, a new way to teach and acquire a foreign language with authenticity, which gives very positive results. My experience is adapted to adults and kids from 8. Families with younger children are also welcome! I will ask you in advance what is your knowledge of French so as to adapt your experience as much as possible. You will be able to : - Introduce yourself - Ask useful & simple questions - Read and understand signs in the streets and on stores - Pronounce some typical Quebec words! *Please don't hesitate to contact me. I could add some dates!
My name is Anne-Cécile, I am a Canadian & French teacher and translator, who loves welcoming visitors and introducing them to the city's most picturesque places & cultures. I will teach you the basics of French -with a Quebec twist!- in a friendly manner so that you feel more comfortable dealing with locals, and more connected to the environment you visit.
A coffee/tea or juice per person is included at Mandy's
While I introduce you to the beautiful French language, we will visit the Bonsecours Market and will pass through Hôtel de ville and Place Jacques-Cartier, then along the famous rue Saint-Paul, and rue Notre-Dame to admire Notre Dame Basilica, then Mandy's, where we will stop for a drink!
Please note that I adapt my experience to all levels, even in the same group. You can also book the experience for your group only (see Booking Tool option)
